10 Meter Monday Night Net

Calling the BARC 10 meter community net. This is _____________(give call sign
phonetically) my name is ________. I am located in _________, Ar. I will be your
net control for tonight’s net. We meet each and every Monday night at 9 P.M. CST
for several reasons, to test our equipment, to practice our skills, and to
develop a fellowship between amateurs in and around our community and the world.
This is a directed net and stations need to respond only when directed by net
control.
When you call into the net give my call sign, __________, then un-key. If you
hear no other station, then proceed with your call sign followed by your name
and location. Please give your call sign slowly and phonetically.
If emergency traffic should arise during the net you should break into the net
at anytime using the call BREAK BREAK followed by your call sign and you will be
recognized and authorized to give your emergency information immediately.
(It is important for net control to keep moving and not wait more than a few
seconds for responses.)
