CQ Calling the Batesville Area Radio Club 10 meter Rag chew net. This is
________my name is ________. I am located in __________, Ar. I will be
your net control for tonight. We meet each Thursday night at 8 P.M. CST
for several reasons, to test our equipment to practice our skills in
checking into a net and to develop and promote fellowship between
amateurs in and around our area and around the world. All licensed
amateur operators from any where are welcome. We want to welcome our
shortwave listeners tonight also.
This is an open forum net and we talk about anything that’s on your mind
with the idea of promoting the use of 10 meters, by having a place we
can all come to and enjoy great fellowship.
When you check into the net give my call sign, ____________, then
un-key. If you hear no other stations then proceed with your call sign
followed by your name and location. Please, always give your call sign
slowly and phonetically.
If emergency traffic should arise during the net you should break into
the net at any time using the call BREAK BREAK or EMERGENCY followed by
your call sign you will then be recognized and authorized to give your
emergency information immediately.
At this time I will take any emergency or priority traffic, please call

Hearing none, at this time, are there any stations that have any special
announcements for the net, please call _________.
Are there any stations that need to come in short time call ______ and I
will get you on the list then take short time comments. However we do
encourage everyone to hang around and participate.
Now we will begin our regular check ins. All properly licensed amateur
radio operators are welcome to check into the net Please call

If there are no more check ins at this time, then the frequency is now
open for every station to express what is on their mind. At this point,
net control can begin a discussion on anything and get the net going.
Net control needs to be a leader in starting a discussion.
Identify the net every 10 minutes and have stations identify also, call
for more check-ins and get them into the net also.
