This net will be called anytime severe threatening weather is approaching our area. This is ________, my name is ______ and I am located in _______, Arkansas. This net is operated for the purpose of Emergency traffic or severe weather reports only. Only report what you personally know, not hearsay and no reports of rain, thunder or lightning. Certainly refrain from fair weather reports. This is a directed net, please do not transmit unless invited to do so by the Net Control Station and if you wish to relay, say relay and give your call-sign only, and stand by to be recognized. Once you check into the net please do-not leave the frequency without checking out with the NCS unless you are in danger, then by all means, safety first. At anytime during the net if there are any stations with emergency or priority traffic please use the words BREAK_BREAK or the word EMERGENCY and the net will standby for your immediate traffic.
